About us
Tanzania Health Promotion Support (THPS) is a local NGO established in 2011 under the Non-Governmental Organization Act No. 24 of 2002.
We collaborate with the government of Tanzania to ensure that high-quality healthcare services are accessible to all Tanzanians. This is achieved through the strengthening of health and community systems, as well as research.
Our Vision
THPS envisions a healthy society in which every individual has access to quality healthcare, and contribute actively to the socio-economic development of Tanzania.
Our Mission
THPS promotes and supports equitable, high quality, accessible and sustainable health services for the Tanzanian society and beyond, through partnership with the government, local and international organizations, civil society, the private sector and the local communities.
